  – New Add Other Choice option for the Checkboxes field lets users type their own answer when none of the predefined choices fit.
  – Prefill by URL now preselects Checkbox Items, Multiple Items, and Dropdown Items choices when the amount in the link is written in the site currency’s format, such as 10,50 or 1,200.00.
  – The Form Builder now displays the PayPal Commerce addon name correctly in payment settings and addon install prompts.
  – WPForms now logs notifications that aren’t sent due to invalid email addresses in the “Send To” field, even when logging is disabled, and logs invalid addresses removed from “Send To” or CC.

  – The confirmation message now receives focus after an AJAX form submission, so screen readers announce it to visitors.
  – Screen readers now announce the actual validation message instead of “Error message” for invalid fields when Modern Markup is enabled.
  – Columns on the Forms Overview page were reordered, and the Tags and Author columns are now hidden by default.
  – The weekly Email Summary now shows key stats with week-over-week trends, a breakdown of entries by form, and highlights tailored to the site’s activity and setup.

  – The Export button on Tools > Export remained enabled after all forms were deselected on WordPress 5.5.
  – Checkbox and Multiple Choice icons were missing on the entry Print Preview page, and check marks overlapped choice text.
  – The Camera field did not fully follow the form’s style settings: the selected file name used a fixed gray color, and the capture button took its border radius and size from the Button settings instead of the Field settings.
  – Clicking a field in the Form Builder could open a different field’s settings in forms built with WPForms AI. Saving then merged the two fields into one and moved the survivor up the form.
  – In the Form Builder, toggle options of a Map field responded to clicks and opened a warning popup while the field was disabled with the “Setup Required” label.
  – Undo and Redo in the Form Builder did not restore the Show/Hide action at the top of Conditional Logic blocks in a field’s Smart Logic settings, Notifications, and Confirmations.
  – Removed provider connection or settings block could not be redone in the Form Builder.
  – Fields placed inside Layout and Repeater columns were moved out of their container in the Form Builder preview after applying AI Form Edit changes.
  – The Visual tab of a Content field went blank and a browser console error appeared when switching between the Text and Visual tabs after a WPForms AI editing prompt reordered the form’s fields.
  – Marking entries as Not Spam through the Bulk Actions dropdown in the Entries list only changed their status and skipped the notification email and other post-submission actions that the row-level Not Spam link performed.
  – A fatal error could occur on entries-related screens.
  – Stripe Custom Meta kept the empty Meta Key field highlighted after undoing the Object Type and Meta Value selections in the Form Builder.

  – PayPal Payments remained switched off and displayed a notice to enable it again after undoing the removal of a PayPal Commerce field.
  – Removing a PayPal Commerce field added three steps to the Form Builder undo history instead of one, causing two subsequent undo presses to do nothing.
  – The Capture With Your Camera button of a Camera field placed in a 3-column Layout field overflowed its column on phones in landscape orientation.
  – Payment notices appeared in the Form Builder while the AI Smart Form Editor was applying changes, including after it deleted the payment field the notice referred to.
  – In the Form Builder, pressing Undo after removing a tag from a multi-select option (such as Allowed Coupons) cleared the entire selection instead of restoring the removed tag when that removal was the first change made to the option.
  – Constant Contact (V3): mapping an individual Address field subfield to the Street Address contact field silently dropped the address instead of sending the selected subfield value.
  – Submitting a form with a Dropdown Items or Multiple Items payment field failed with a fatal error instead of showing the “Invalid payment option” message when the field received a malformed value.
  – The forms and payments tables on the Dashboard page were missing space below their last row in Firefox.
  – Icon Choices did not follow the button background color in forms using Modern Markup on WordPress 5.5.
  – The page shifted horizontally when the What’s New modal was opened or closed on WordPress 5.5.

  – Sites where the Dashboard data tables had not been created yet ran an extra database check on every page load, which could overload large multisite networks after an upgrade.
  – Modern anti-spam protection could be missing from a form when a page had several forms with different anti-spam settings.
  – A browser console error related to the Content field appeared in the Form Builder on some server configurations.
